The Beginning
Ever since I was young, I've spent so much time writing stories, using a camera, and editing videos, which allowed me to get my first job as a full-time video editor. As an editor, I learned even more about storytelling and how a story is shaped in the edit.
I then moved on to making short films as I marketed DashDucks. This is when I truly learned the fundamentals of movie production, splitting my time between making advertisements and participating in other films and story writing education.
The edit is where raw footage becomes something people actually feel.
Learning the Craft
In 2024, I launched Luminark Studios, bringing over a decade of experience to create amazing videos for people like you.
I often am asked, "Why are you a film maker?" For me, it's about modivation. I remember how the first time I watched The Lord of the Rings, I felt so inspired to go out and be the good in the world and fight for what is good in the world. If a film can have that kind of impact on me, I want to create that same feeling for others.
"Why do you make films?" Because the right story can make someone want to go out and be better. That's worth chasing.
When I'm not filming, I love spending time with my wife and exploring the outdoors. We especially love rock climbing and longboarding. I enjoy building with LEGO, going to the gym and playing Magic: The Gathering. Life is good. I try to focus on the little things that make life beautiful.
